If you are not feeling well, please do not enter our Y. If you have vulnerabilities or pre-existing conditions that make you more susceptible to the coronavirus, please stay home.

  • If you do not feel well or have a fever over 100.4, DO NOT to visit the Y until symptom-free.
  • If you or someone in your household has a confirmed case of COVID-19, DO NOT visit the Y for 10 days after the date of testing positive if you are not fully vaccinated.
     

NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Reservations are not required for our fitness centers, Egym, pools, and most group exercise classes. Your local Y may continue with group exercise class reservations based on the popularity of the class, equipment availability, or space considerations. Group exercise, pool, and gym schedules and reservations are available on the YFit app or online here.

FACE COVERINGS

Effective Tuesday, August 3, 2021, all members, guests and staff are REQUIRED to wear face coverings while indoors at the Y, with the exception of swimming and showering, by order of the Health Officers of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.

CLEANLINESS

The Y will provide sanitizer stations throughout the building. Individual spray bottles and towels will be available for member use. Y staff will be executing enhanced cleaning protocols daily. We ask that you continue to disinfect all equipment before and after use.

Virtual Y

Even though the Y is now fully operational in-person, members can still enjoy Live GroupEx Classes, On-Demand Workouts, and family programming ONLINE!

Virtual Y is a free benefit for all current Y members. 

 

Can I visit other YMCA's?

YMCA reciprocity programs, both bay area and nationwide, are currently suspended. You may visit any of the ten YMCAs in our YMCA of Silicon Valley network.

Are lockerooms open?

Locker rooms, showers, and restrooms are now available for use at all locations.

How can I help the Y keep myself and others healthy?

The Y appreciates your support in the following.

Stay Home if You’re Sick: Stay home if you don’t feel well. The CDC and public health officials encourage seniors and members of vulnerable populations, including those with underlying health conditions, to stay at home.

Follow all current health orders: Health orders regarding face coverings, social distancing and occupancy are subject to change.

Can I bring a guest, or use my Nationwide Membership?

YMCA reciprocity programs, both bay area and nationwide, are currently suspended. You may visit any of the YMCAs in our YMCA of Silicon Valley network. Our member-guest program is currently suspended. We will be reintroducing it shortly.

How is equipment cleaned?

We are using the cleaning product Virex II, which is on the EPA’s list of disinfectants for use against COVID-19, and wiping down all equipment after each class and on a rotation in the fitness center.  

We ask for your help to wipe down the equipment before and after use. Cleaning products will be provided within our facilities.

Should I clean equipment before I use or is that being done for me?

While Y staff is cleaning as often as possible, to ensure your health, we recommend that you clean all equipment before and after you use it.

When will all equipment be available again?

Although we have fewer machines, we’ve worked hard to ensure you have the same options available to you for exercising. Our new layouts promote physical distancing and provide comfort in moving around the facility.  We will continue to reintroduce equipment as appropriate.

Will the rock wall open again?

The rock wall will reopen when it is safe to do so.

Is towel service available?

No, towel service is still suspended until further notice.
