Join the YMCA’s year-long Diabetes Prevention Program with 26 in-person sessions led by a trained lifestyle coach. You’ll meet in a small group to learn about healthy eating, physical activity, and behavior changes to improve your health. Studies show this program can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes by nearly 60%.

The program may be a covered benefit if you are a member of Valley Health Plan, Santa Clara Family Health Plan, Health Plan of San Mateo, Kaiser Permanente, Medicare or most Medi-Cal plans. Verification of benefits is required prior to enrollment.
