The Silicon Valley Business Journal is proud to announce the winners of its 40 Under 40 awards for 2018.
Each year, we honor up-and-coming leaders in Silicon Valley who have distinguished themselves in their fields before the age of 40. These 28- to 39-year-olds have been chosen year for their leadership, community work and impact in their respective fields.
Our 2018 honorees include CEOs, entrepreneurs and even a few second acts from startups to venture capital, real estate to law, and fitness to nonprofits. In July, you'll learn more about our honorees, including:
- A woman who has scaled Kilimanjaro (and succeeded in the male-dominated field of engineering)
- The CEO who helps us find our lost keys (or luggage … or wallet)
- The lawyer who learned a few lessons in trade secret law from her work in the recent Waymo versus Uber trial
- The education public information officer who started an online business that caters to soccer refereesThe semiconductor program manager who flew combat missions in Afghanistan in a previous career
The Business Journal editorial staff and several of last year’s 40 Under 40 winners poured through more than 250 nominations to choose this year's winners.
