More than 300 people celebrated this year's Silicon Valley Business Journal 40 Under 40 honorees on July 25 at Club Auto Sport in North San Jose.

A collection of classic cars greeted attendees at registration. In keeping with the automobile theme of the locale, each of the honorees was asked to share the name of their first car and what their dream car would be.

Of course, the one honoree who is chief of cyber for Guidewire – Matthew Honea — interpreted the "What was your first car?" question differently from everyone else.

His response? "I'm pretty sure this is a security question."

Here are everyone's responses, and click through the slideshow to get a glimpse of the evening's celebration.
