Our Leadership

Our leaders foster an environment of inclusiveness within our organization and throughout the community. Here are the men and women who are leading YMCA Camp Campbell into the future:

Jill Gary, Executive Director 
Jill’s YMCA career began as a teen counselor-in-training at Pleasant Valley Camp in Wolfeboro, NH. She worked at camp through college and beyond. In 2006, she continued her career in the finance department at YMCA of Greater Boston, where she received valuable experience in nonprofit accounting. In 2010, Jill relocated to the Bay Area to become executive director of YMCA Camp Campbell. She received a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

Cathy Haas, Senior Program Director
Cathy became passionate about working with youth through her experiences as a YMCA Counselor in Training and a Summer Day Camp counselor. Before assuming her current position, Cathy worked as a guide for white water rafting, adventure tours, and cross-country skiing. She also spent several years as a recreation research consultant. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, a master’s degree from California State University Sacramento, and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah.

Stacey Otlin, Senior Program Director 
Stacy began her YMCA career in 1992. Before assuming her current position, she served in several roles, including camp director and after-school site director. She received a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College in Upstate New York and a master’s degree from Simmons College in Boston.

Sharon Clark, Office Assistant
Sharon began her YMCA career in 1991. Before assuming her current position, she served in several roles, including Day Camp director and After School site director. She has worked as Camp’s registrar for the past 3 years.

Georgette Callaway, Child Care Site Director 
Georgette began working as a teacher for the YMCA child care site at Redwood Elementary School in 1998. She was promoted to site director in 2001 and also has worked as a lifeguard and Day Camp director.

Louis Repucci, Program Director 
Louis began working part-time as a teen at the Pomona YMCA in southern California. He went on to work in several other YMCA associations in the area in Youth and Government and camping programs. He is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Los Angeles and is currently enrolled at Cabrillo Community College.  

Rich Scholten, Facility Manager 
Rich began his YMCA career in 2009 working in maintenance at Camp Jones Gulch. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Cruz.

Sarah Gnizak, Summer and Family Camp Director 
Sarah began her YMCA career at YMCA Frost Valley in New York. She came to YMCA Camp Campbell in 2006, working with the Outdoor Science School. She assumed her current position in 2008. Sarah received a bachelor’s degree in outdoor education and recreation from Berea College. 

Shannon Haro, Facility Supervisor 
Shannon began working for YMCA Camp Campbell in 2010 as a Facility Assistant. Since that time, he was promoted to Facility Supervisor and now manages the weekend maintenance staff and housekeeping. 

Molly Underwood, Program Director
Before coming to YMCA Camp Campbell's Outdoor Science School in 2012, Molly had years of experience in the field of science education, working for a variety of science-based organizations including zoos, museums, aquariums, environmental nonprofits, universities, and other outdoor science schools. She also has extensive experience in program development and management. Molly received a bachelor's degree in conservation biology from Middlebury College and a master's degree in science education from Montana State University.

Meg Huggett, Aquatics Director
Meg is passionate about youth education and development. She started her career at YMCA Camp Campbell in 2012 as a Field Teacher in our Outdoor Science School and assumed her current position later that year. Meg has been a swim coach and instructor since 2002. She received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from University of California Santa Cruz.
