Kids Club
A safe, inviting space in our YMCA is dedicated to babysitting our facility members' children, ages 6 weeks to 11 years, while their parents are in the facility. Our Kids Club includes a large indoor and outdoor area with play structures, sandbox, toys, books, and more. YMCA staff provide supervision while fostering the YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and strengthening developmental assets, the building blocks children need to thrive.
Parents Night Out
Recognizing parents occasionally need a night out without kids, our staff babysit Kids Club children while their parents go out on a Friday night. This program is offered for a nominal fee.
Family Events
Spend time with your family and friends at the Southwest YMCA. Events such as game nights, barbecues, movie nights, holiday festivals, and Breakfast with Santa provide great fun for the whole family. Call 408-370-1877 for a schedule of events.

A volunteer-based program which relies on parents to organize monthly meetings, family outings, and field trips, Y-Adventure Guides helps develop a lifelong relationship between parent and child (grades K-5) as they share quality time together. Activities include campouts, field trips, crafts, parties and pot-luck dinners are just a few of the planned activities. This volunteer-based program helps parents organize monthly meetings, family outings, field trips and campouts.

Trailblazers: Quicksilver Expedition
The Southwest YMCA's Trailblazers are an extension to the Adventure Guides, designed to fit the needs of kids that are in 5th through 8th grade. In Trailblazers, the focus shifts from the father setting up and planning events to having the youth take control of the events. The father works side by side with their preteen and helps encourage and empower them to do their best. Trailblazers allows for the father-child relationship to grow to a whole new level.
