->Family Gym

Full gym used for activities including Badminton, Basketball, Indoor Soccer, and Volleyball. No adults allowed without children.

->Family Swim

Reserved for youth and families. Youth under the age of 10 years old must pass a swim test to participate without direct adult supervision and to enter the deep side of the pool.

->Family Zone

Spend Sunday evenings together playing foosball, table hockey, ping pong, interactive Wii games, and enjoying fun activities.

->Family Nights

Have a family night out at the YMCA. Enjoy games, movies, food, swimming, contests, and much more.


->KidZone (Ages 6 - 12 years)

Free for current Family Facility Members.
Adult Membership $3 per hour
Program Member $4 per hour

KidZone is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for youth and tweens to spark creativity and develop friendships with others. KidZone curriculum activities and program leader staff help build self-esteem, appreciate the diversity of people around them, develop healthy habits, and give back to the community. Each month is themed to reflect different social and cultural themes and notions from around the world

->Kid's Club (Ages 7 weeks - 6 years)

Free for current Family Facility Members.
Adult Membership $3 per half hour
Program Membership $4 per half hour

By spending time each week with our Kid's Club, your child and your family will receive the following outcomes: Healthy Lifestyles, Self-Identity, Appreciating Differences, Safe & Provided For, and Relationships. It is our intent to provide your child with a positive social experience in a caring and fun environment. Each Kid's Club day is designed with curriculum pieces to engage children's interest and spark their imagination. Different curriculum pieces allow for parent and community volunteers to sign up in advance to participate and join in the asset building. Each month is themed to reflect different social and cultural themes and notions from around the world.

 

 

->Youth Fitness Series

YMCA youth fitness classes enhance fitness, coordination and socialization in a safe, fun environment. Focus is on gross and fine motor skills, balance, strength and flexibility. We use a variety of equipment including balls, parachutes, mats, bean bags and hula hoops. We provide classes for youth ages 6 months to 12 years old. Experience the world of youth fitness at the Palo Alto Family YMCA.

Gym Ventures (Toddlers/preschool)
Gym Ventures is a parent-child movement exploration class. The room is set up differently every week providing a variety of opportunities to experience movement through climbing, rolling, hanging, swinging, jumping, ball handling, balancing and more.

Gymnastics for Kids (Grades P-6)
A fun, high energy class that teaches basic gymnastic skills, such as rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, and handstands.

Fun and Fitness (Grades P-3)
Fun and Fitness consists of warm-up and a variety of activities, including jump rope, hula hoop, basic gymnastics, locomotor skills, games, ball handling, bean bags and parachute.

Youth Fitness (Grades 3-6)
This group fitness class consists of a warm-up and a variety of activities, including step, slide, jump rope, hula hoop, basic gymnastics, locomotor skills, games, ball handling, bean bags and parachute.

Family Fitness (Grades K-5)
Be healthy as a family with fun, active games and activities.

 

->Littles Programs

Our parent-child sports and swimming series is designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of a variety sports. We teach by incorporating sports skills in to well-known children’s games. Participants will be introduced to proper stretching, game practice, and sports basics and participate in their first game.
