Lunch n' Learn: Every Tried a Plant Based Lifestyle?
Let's talk common myths surrounding a plant-based lifestyle. How do you get protein? Is it more expensive to eat plant-based protein? Can you be an athlete and perform at a high level while eating a plant-based diet?
We will be discussing in-depth how our diet plays the most crucial role in sustaining a healthy lifestyle long-term. Using scientific research and studies from respected institutions, Vidisha will illustrate how the Standard American Diet is directly linked to some of the most deadly diseases impacting Americans today. Furthermore, you will learn several ways to incorporate more plant-forward meals into your life, sharing recipe ideas, helpful resources, and ways to save money when grocery shopping for plant-based foods.
