YMCAs have led health and fitness programs for people of all ages, incomes and abilities for more than a century. We also focus on overall wellness, empowering you to tailor your own plan toward healthier living by choosing how you will accomplish your wellness goals. The whole approach means you have many options and lots of support as you choose your path to a healthier new you!

At the YMCA, we have the facilities, equipment, programs, and staff to support you. Make new friends, increase your self-confidence, and improve your spiritual, mental and physical health.

Like all Y programs, health, well-being and fitness is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Fitness Center

Our fitness center features strength equipment, cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes and free weights. Certified, professionally trained staff are available to assist you and help you reach your fitness goals.

->New Member Orientation

One of the premium benefits of joining the Centennial Recreation Center is the opportunity to learn how to use our fully equipped fitness center to your best advantage. All Centennial Recreation Center Facility Members receive a free orientation with our trained fitness coaches. Make your appointment today at the Welcome Center!

 

 


Specialty Classes

->Personal Training

Our personal training program is individualized and specifically tailored to your needs. Our certified trainers will guide you through a customized program, which will get you the results you need in the fastest and most effective way possible. You will be instructed in all components necessary to alter body composition, the use of proper bio-mechanics, anatomy, physiology, proper nutrition, and much more.

We have personal training packages for adults and teens. Please contact us for prices and training packages.

->Nutritional Services

The CRC provides private nutritional counseling, diet assessments, workshops and classes that can help you learn how to eat healthier. For more information on these services, please contact Tracee Gluhaich, nutrition educator/health coach, at tracee.gluhaich@ymcasv.org or 408-892-4572.

->Youth Strength Training at the CRC

Free for CRC Members ages 8-15, these one-on-one training sessions are designed to help you achieve your health and fitness goals in a 3-phase course. The program is ongoing, and all youth ages 8-11 must first complete a Fitness Center etiquette and equipment orientation session. This program is free for CRC members.

->Youth Fitness

Our Youth Fitness class emphasizes athleticism and sportsmanship in all forms, as well as healthy lifestyles. Kids will play a variety of games and sports, including basketball, indoor soccer, hockey and baseball. The class aims to develop motor skills, sports fundamentals and self-efficacy and interpersonal skills, as well as nutrition fundamentals. This drop-in class is free for CRC members.
