Health, Well-Being & FitnessGroup Exercise

YMCAs have led health and fitness programs for people of all ages, incomes and abilities for more than a century. We also focus on overall wellness, empowering you to tailor your own plan toward healthier living by choosing how you will accomplish your wellness goals. The whole approach means you have many options and lots of support as you choose your path to a healthier new you!

At the YMCA, we have the facilities, equipment, programs, and staff to support you. Make new friends, increase your self-confidence, and improve your spiritual, mental and physical health.

Like all Y programs, health, well-being and fitness is open to all, with financial assistance available.

Group Exercise Classes

You can participate in Mt. Madonna YMCA group fitness classes at the CRC in Morgan Hill.

Some of our more popular classes include:

->Body Sculpt

A total strength training class that firms up and tones muscles using dumbbells, body bars and resistance bands.

->Boot Camps (Beginning and Advanced levels)

A full body workout that allows you to be challenged as much as you want. This class is designed to provide the ultimate in agility and cross training.

->H.I.T (High Intensity Training)

Take your workout to the next level. Push your physical limits and crank up the intensity in this 30-minute workout.

->Kickboxing with Gloves

Kick, punch, jab and power your way through this cardiovascular and muscular endurance workout using gloves and bags. Don’t want the impact? We have Cardio Kick, where no gloves or contact are required.

->Pilates

A mat-based workout that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles, help improve posture, enhance stability, increase core muscle strength and improve flexibility.

->TRX (Beginning and Advanced levels)

This class uses one simple piece of equipment. You’ll be challenged as the instructor guides you through intense core movements and balancing drills.

->U-Jam

U-Jam ™ Fitness is an athletic hip hop dance fitness workout that combines dance and high energy music for a workout that is bound to elevate your heart rate, get your body moving and make you sweat, all while having fun.

->Yoga

A class designed to increase flexibility, relieve stress, improve mental concentration and achieve greater body awareness.

->Zumba® (Different classes for adults and kids)

This high energy class uses motivating music and unique moves and combinations to give you an ideal dance workout. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do.
