Our Leadership

Chris Ghione, Executive Director

Chris Ghione is the Executive Director for the Mt. Madonna YMCA. He is a long time south county resident and prior to starting with the YMCA in January 2011 worked for the City of Morgan Hill. While working for the City of Morgan Hill Chris worked in partnership with the YMCA, opening and managing the Morgan Hill Centennial Recreation Center. Additionally he was responsible for managing multiple other City recreation facilities. Chris earned both his BS and MS in Recreation Administration at San Jose State University. Chris takes the most pride in finding ways to intentionally infuse asset building into our youth programs.

Keri Russell, Associate Executive Director

Keri Russell is the Associate Executive Director for the Mt. Madonna YMCA. She began her YMCA career back in 1999 at the South Valley Family YMCA as a camp leader. She has held a variety of different positions at the YMCA before coming to Morgan Hill in 2007. Keri provides leadership and support to the Kids’ Zone, Member Services, and Health & Wellness Departments at the Centennial Recreation Center. Keri earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Jose State University and also holds a Masters Degree in Sport Management through the University of San Francisco. In her free time Keri loves to work out and train for half marathons.

Jane Lhermine, Administrative Manager

Jane Lhermine is the Administrative Director for the Mt. Madonna YMCA. She began her YMCA career at the Centennial Recreation Center (CRC) in Member Services which lead her to her current position at the Branch office for the past few years. Prior to starting her YMCA career, she was a Marketing Manager for a High Tech Company in Silicon Valley, as well as, various Executive Administrative positions for CEOs and Vice Presidents for 18 years.

Susan Fent, Senior Programs & Services Director

Susan Fent began her YMCA career with Mt. Madonna YMCA in 2007 as Director of Senior Programs and Services at the Centennial Recreation Senior Center in Morgan Hill. She was part of the team that developed and implemented the initial vision for the Senior Center. With more than 25 years of experience providing support services to older adults, she is passionate about promoting access to high-quality and impactful health and wellness programs in South County, so that older adults can thrive as members of the community. Susan is a licensed clinical social worker. She received a master's degree in social welfare, specializing in gerontology, from the University of California at Berkeley.

Andrea Nicolette, Program Director

Andrea Nicolette is the Program Director for the Mt. Madonna branch of Silicon Valley. Andrea is devoted to the South County area with a passion for the Gilroy community. Andrea began her career at the YMCA as a Site Director in San Benito County, over 10 years ago. As a Membership Director of the Centennial Recreation Center in Morgan Hill, she was a visionary leader who was committed to the development of youth services and healthy living. The diversity of Andrea’s 14 years of youth services experience provide a vessel for the YMCA After school and Camp programs to reach over 1100 children annually under her supervision. Andrea continues to pursue the mission of the YMCA.

Robert Hamilton, Youth Services Program Director (Morgan Hill)

Robert Hamilton feels honored to oversee all of the YMCA youth programs in Morgan Hill. His goal is to expand YMCA Youth Sports into Gilroy, create more Child Care sites, and develop new programs for teens and families. He started his YMCA career in Lompoc, CA and has been supporting the YMCA mission since March 2007. Before the YMCA, Robert had worked in retail management, telecom sales, and law enforcement. He is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara, and is most passionate about serving his family and local church.

Rebecca Boyer, Health and Wellness Director

Rebecca Boyer is the Health and Wellness Director for the Centennial Recreation Center. She began her YMCA career at the YMCA of Greater Toledo as a group exercise instructor and then moved to becoming the Fitness Director for the Summit YMCA of Greater Toledo where she worked for 5 years before moving to Morgan Hill for her current position. Prior to starting her YMCA career, she worked in a private studio as a certified Pilate’s instructor and personal trainer.

Bill Glass, Member Relations Director

Bill Glass is Member Relations Director for the Centennial Recreation Center (CRC). He began his career with the YMCA at the CRC as a welcome desk coordinator, which lead to his current position which he has held for the past two years. Prior to beginning his career with the YMCA, Bill was a staff accountant for a start up Internet Company. He obtained an accounting degree at SDSU. He also held various other management positions, but his passion is for interpersonal communication and the well being of others eventually drove him to the YMCA.
