Nutrition Counseling
Let us be your Nutrition Coach! Proper nutrition is vital to a healthy lifestyle and our registered dietitian can provide you with strategies for healthy eating. Proper nutrition can help you increase your energy, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and help with weight management and weight loss.
Body Composition Analysis
This program is designed to help you establish and identify your body fat percentage vs. lean body mass. A YMCA Fitness Specialist will conduct a caliper test and evaluate four to seven different sites of the body. The idea is to establish a starting point to better track your progress throughout your fitness programs. The test is recommended for all members over the age of 18 who want to alter their body composition. We invite and encourage all members who have not had a body composition analysis to register for one at the Member Services Desk. This program is by appointment only.
Weight Training for Women
Through a blend of strength, core and cardiovascular training, this small group class aims to help women transform bulky non-muscle into tone, lean mass. Classes meet twice a week for 6 weeks and each class is 1 hour long. Great for beginners.
