Our Leadership
Executive Director
Tim joined the El Camino YMCA in January of 2007. He began
his career at the YMCA in 1989 as a Member Service Representative
at the Marin YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of San Francisco.
Upon graduation from Sonoma State University, he became
the Teen Coordinator developing teen programs and directing
summer camps for over 500 children. Tim holds a degree
in Public Administration and a minor in Business Administration.
In 1996, Tim became the Sr. Program Director for the Mt.
Diablo Family YMCA with responsibility for 6 child care
sites, camps, teens, Y-Guides and youth arts. After a
short stint in the private sector, Tim returned as the
Executive Director of the Delta Family YMCA in Oakley,
California. When Tim is not at work, he enjoys spending
time with wife, Jackie, and their two children, Zachary
and Aynsley. They are actively involved with their children
in their school activities, little league and swim team.
Associate Executive Director
Jenny-Rebecca began her YMCA career in 1999 as a childcare counselor in Plymouth, Massachusetts. She held several positions throughout the Old Colony YMCA Association including Program Director, Camp Director and Senior Program Director for the Youth Division. After a short hiatus working in the for profit sector, she is now back at the YMCA as the Associate Executive Director for the El Camino YMCA.
Jenny-Rebecca holds a BA in Psychology and Business from Elmira College. She recently moved to California with her husband and is extremely excited to rejoin the YMCA family. She enjoys spending time with family, hiking and traveling.
Associate Executive Director for Wellness
Michelle has been a part of the YMCA movement for more than 13 years, during which she has been involved in after-school care, camping, family programs, triathlon training, group exercise, Gulick Project, Activate America, LA & SF training departments, and health and fitness. She comes to the El Camino YMCA from the Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of San Francisco, where she served as the Senior Health and Fitness Director for the past 2 ½ years. Her key accomplishments in this role were member engagement, leadership development, developing an understanding of exercise psychology in fitness for YMCA’s and moving the Activate America initiative forward, which she has been actively working on since its inception. Michelle is also a certified triathlon coach, personal trainer, and spin instructor. In addition, Michelle has an MA in Sports Psychology and her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology.
Director of Facilities and Maintenance
Juan has served at the YMCA of Silicon Valley, El Camino Branch since October of 2006. His previous experience was working as Operations Manager for the National Head Start Program in Southern Alameda County where he was responsible for all custodial, building engineering, security and access controls, monitoring staff safety, emergency responses, property management, and design and project oversight for all major and minor maintenance related to capital improvement projects.
Juan has a degree in Early Childhood Development, is a Certified Pool/Spa Operator of Aquatic Facilities through the National Swimming Pool Foundation, and was recognized as Director of the Year in 2007 by the YMCA of Silicon Valley association. He is certified by the American Red Cross and American Safety & Health Institute as a CPR/AED & First Aid Instructor. Juan also serves as a member of the Board of Director of Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center and Regional Council member of the American Cancer Society Greater Bay Area.
Community Program Director
Trenton Hill has been working for the El Camino YMCA since the winter of 1999. He began his YMCA career as a youth basketball referee and has held various positions in Youth Sports and Summer Camps and served 5 years in the Kids’ Place after school child care program, including 3 years as a Site Director at Oak and Slater Elementary schools. Currently, Trenton oversees the Teen and Summer Camp departments.
Trenton received a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Marketing from San Jose State University. He is always constantly looking for opportunities to learn and further his personal growth. Employed since high school, the YMCA has been an excellent guide and resource for his personal and professional development.
In his free time, Trenton enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing all sports, working with computers, and attending SF Giants Baseball and Stanford Men’s Basketball games.
Childcare Director
Saadia joined the El Camino YMCA in Spring, 2001. She started as a Kids' Place childcare leader, and then served eight years as Site Director at Huff Elementary. She is currently Childcare Director and oversees our Teen program.
Saadia grew up at YMCA resident camps, day camps, and childcare, and is truly proud to be part of this organization and amazing community for almost 10 years now! She has dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Behavioral Science from San Jose State University, and in her free time, loves visiting her favorite places: Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and the happiest place on earth - Disneyland!
Membership Director
Nicole joined the El Camino YMCA in 1998, when she started her Y career as a Member Services Associate. In 1999, after graduation, she moved to San Diego where she then began work for the Mission Valley YMCA. There, she worked as the Site Director of a government funded Before and After School Program, "6 to 6." Upon her return to the Bay Area in 2005, Nicole was lucky enough to return to her home branch as the Child Care Coordinator. Over the past 4 years, Nicole has had the opportunity to work in several departments of the branch, including Child Care and Administration, and was recently promoted to Membership Director! In her spare time, Nicole loves to travel, attend local sporting events, and spend time with her new family.
Youth and Family Director
Kellie joined the El Camino YMCA in 1994 as the Way to Grow Preschool site Director, where she ran the half-day preschool program at Landels Elementary School for eleven years. In 2004, Kellie opened another YMCA preschool program at Oak Elementary School and continued to run that program for the next two years. The next stage of Kellie’s YMCA career came in 2006 when she was offered the position of the El Camino YMCA’s Youth and Family Program Director. Since then, Kellie has been overseeing programs such as Way to Grow Preschool, Gym Ventures, Child Watch, and After-school Enrichment. When Kellie is not at the YMCA, she is spending time with her husband and two children; they love to camp, boat, and do anything outdoors.
